THE NEW CD IS OUT!

Finally the new CD: “Gifted 2 Sing” is completed and is now in circulation.  This has been a long time coming.  The work was done by Sharon Buntin and Selwyn Arnold Jr.  You might remember that Selwyn has done the musical arrangements of Sharon’s original music.  This particular CD includes one of Sharon’s original songs.  The musical arrangement was done by Selwyn.  The inspiration for that particular song was a result of a teaching by Sharon’s husband, Rev Vernon Buntin.

All of the music was recorded at Sel Joy Studios.  The CD was published at Disc Makers.  In addition to this new CD, the original CD:”Gifted” has been repackaged and re-released and are being offered together as a discount.  Responses to this new offering have been very good.

Sharon Buntin is a New Jersey native who sings of the goodness of the Lord.   At the early age of four, Sharon has been performing using many styles within the Gospel Music genre.  She expresses her love for the Lord through classical, traditional and contemporary sounds of exuberance.

Sharon has launched many choirs in churches, schools and college.  Among them is the Gospel Choir of the West Point Military Academy Preparatory School at Ft. Monmouth, NJ.

Sharon is also a wife and mother of two.  Her husband is Rev. Vernon Buntin and together they render “The Gospel in Word and Song.”  Theirs is a traveling ministry to various churches in services, workshops and retreats.   Regularly and for more than ten years they minster at the Bowery Mission in Manhattan.

Sharon has been active in Christian theatre in her association with Bryant Buchanan Productions.  Sharon has also been a McDonald’s Gospel Fest finalist and has been a frequent soloist with the 911 Coalition of Families.

Most recently Sharon was a semi finalist the “judges pick”in Estes Park Colorado in the songwriting and vocal competitions of the Gospel Music Association.

Sharon has degrees from Monmouth University in music and Seton Hall University in Education with a Special Education Certificate from Jersey City State University.  She has received numerous awards and certificates for excellence and citizenship for various civic and professional organizations.

Many things have changed since the last posting. My husband and I had been in ministry for more than twenty years. But in June of 2009 he went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus. However my daughter and I carry on in ministry.  Our last outing was on Sunday January 24th, 2010 at the Van Nest Assembly of God, Bronx NY.  God is great and greatly to be praised!
